Boulevard Homes is located approximately 5 miles west of the Charlotte Central Business District near the Charlotte International Airport. Boulevard Group Inc. was procured and placed under contract to manage the preparation of the revitalization plan and HOPE VI application for the Project and to provide certain strategic advice and consulting services.
The $150 million dollar revitalization plan calls for the demolition of all existing apartment buildings and development of a new community on the existing Boulevard Homes site to include approximately 250 multi-family dwelling units, approximately 120 independent living senior units and a signature K-8 public school and an off-site component composed of single family homeownership houses, and additional rental units.
